To whom it may concern: I need a wheel on my recycling cart repaired. I have called 812-349-3443 three times during office hours and got a message that no one is there to answer my call. I have had this done before and it was done well and expeditiously, I appreciate your help. When done inn the past, I was asked to leave the cart at my curbside on a particular day. Hence, if someone can tell me which day I should do the same, I will be happy to do so. Be well, Ben Beard 4311 E Walpole ln Bloomington, In 47408 812-327-7655 [email protected]
QUESTION: On behalf of Crescent Bend Neighborhood Association, I ask, "What is the schedule for cleaning sand & gutters on West 17th St?" Monthly? Semi-annually? --Thank you in advance. Sharon Roualet 1311 W 17th St. 47404 CBNA. 812-345-7680.
Lake Griffy drone use occurring. It's a bit disturbing. Is it allowed?

Massive pothole on the road between the old movie theater parking lots (formerly AMC), near the exit by Moore's Pike. Pothole on 10th St. right by the Indiana Railroad underpass. Mary Norman 411 West Howe Street Bloomington, IN 47403 To Whom: I am writing to ask if a streetlamp be installed between my property and the property next door. These properties are: 411 (mine) 413 (AirBB)… as this is the only way to our back doors and parking lot. There is a utility pole already set in the ground and wires attached. The south side of Howe Steet is where I live – there are 4 of us that have property here. • Odd Fellows (corner of Madison and Howe) they occupy that house once a month for a meeting. • My property – 411 West Howe – I am a fulltime resident and owner occupied. • 413 West Howe is an AirBB and is only occupied now and then. • Rehab house on the corner of Rogers and Howe – 4 units occupied off and on with only men It is very very dark on this street along with tree foliage that blocks out any light, On the corner of Madison and Howe is a streetlamp but it is dim and doesn’t cast a lot of light. As a single woman in elder years, I try to walk as much as I can but restricted at night due to the darkness surrounding this street. I installed a motion light on the roof of my house, but it only shines with movement. I am willing to pay or partial payment of installing a streetlamp between 411 and 413 west Howe street. There is a short street that separates these two houses and the only way to get to our parking lot and back door. Homeless people walk thru our backyard traveling to and from Shalom Center and the park up a block on Howe Street. Yesterday I saw a homeless person “peeing” between my neighbor’s trash and recycle bins. There is no respect for personal property in our back area. We butt up to the apartment building on Second Street. Countless times police are there with lights flashing. It really is NOT safe around here without proper lighting. Please set up a time for someone to visit this area during evening hours. It will surprise you that you cannot identify who is walking down Howe Street… AGAIN, I would be willing to fund the lamp as would the owners of the AirBB. We have discussed the security issue and pathway our back yard becomes. Thank you for taking the time to read my concern and solution. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. I shall wait patiently for your reply. In regards Mary Norman 812.650.2823
trash blowing from 765 E Winslow rd. do to the remodelers not picking it up and disposing of it.
Large, deep pothole on E. 10th Street across from Wright Quad. It's in the north lane right in front of the bus stop that's closest to the Student Health Center. If someone on a bike, skateboard or scooter drives over it, they could be seriously injured.
There is significant and growing erosion on the south side of Moore's Pike, just west of the Southeast Park. The big drop-off could cause a serious accident.
