Sketchy sidewalk across this driveway, not wheelchair accessible
Sketchy sidewalk across this driveway, not wheelchair accessible
Curbs on northeast side of N Summit and W 12 St intersection are very broken, and have large gaps where canes and casters can get caught. Accessibility issue.
Curbs on northwest side of N Summit and W 12 St intersection are broken, and have gaps where canes and casters can get caught. Accessibility issue.
The street light at the intersection of Hawthorne Dr and University Street is not working. The wire from the electricity pole (on Hawthorne Dr, toward 1st street) to the light pole looks sagging from its normal position.
This trail has a lot of dog walkers and there is a lot of dog feces that is not picked up. Would like a dog waste disposal and bags to help keep this area clean. And possibly some signage
The portion of sidewalk that overlaps with the driveway is tilted at a harsh sideways angle. Pavement very patchy and hard to navigate in wheelchair
Curb at the northwest corner of W 13th and N Summit intersection has accessibility issue. Curb is raised too high off street level and top steep. Street is angled downwards, creating an even more notable height difference.
The honeysuckle on the west side of the street is blocking visibility right exactly on the curve of Martha Street so any cars going in either direction will not see a car coming in the other direction until about point of impact. This honeysuckle was cut down at when the city put in the new sewage line right at that corner and I asked the people working on the sewage line to dig up that honeysuckle so that it wouldn't block this ability but now that tree has grown has been growing since 2019 and is now overwhelming the corner no visibility very dangerous hazard and it looks like this tree is exactly on the easement and not on the property of either neighbors there.
The Bloomington Police need to start patrolling the trails (and all of town) for illegal electric motorcycle operation. At 8:35pm on 5/26/2026 I observed an illegal electric motorcycle narrowly miss hitting a pedestrian. The illegal electric motorcycle was traveling south bound on the B-Line from Kirkwood with two people on it at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle has no pedals. It is not a bicycle. The motorcycle did not slow down or stop before crossing 4th Street. A lady was walking from west to east on the sidewalk along the south side of 4th Street. The electric motorcycle was quickly approaching the pedestrian and the lady saw it just in time and was able to stop walking and narrowly miss being hit and severely injured. The illegal motorcycle did not try to avoid the collision. These illegal electric motorcycles cannot use the trail. The operators need to be issued tickets with fines and the motorcycles impounded and not returned. These motorcycles are operating recklessly and dangerously on trails, sidewalks, and streets. Please start removing these from our town before someone is seriously injured or killed by these motorcycles on our trails and sidewalks.
Several large potholes eastbound lane.
