Several months ago a new culvert was installed underneath Browncliff which was intended to help the property across the street drain more effectively. Yesterday, in the torrential rain, the sheer volume of water became a literal fast flowing river across several properties on the west side of Browncliff Lane. this amount of water can't possibly be due to residential properties on Browncliff, Matlock and Headley. my guess is that it is actually unmanaged runoff from the IU golf course, which means it is probably full of fertilizers and pesticides. Since there is no effective water management anywhere on these roads, the water becomes a river, then a lake. I do not believe this is a natural floodplain, (since water on my property seems to naturally flow through a natural swale). This seems to be unmanaged water from other areas that simply hasn't been dealt with properly.
Dumpster blocking public sidewalk. Has been reported multiple times previously. Please let me know what response the city has, if they don't think a fine is appropriate. This is dangerous at night, not in compliance with ADA, and, at this point, negligent. (also apologies for the duplicate case at kilroy's - 210513 - one of those was supposed to be this, but obviously something odd happened.)
I have almost got hit by cars when I was walking to campus—east on Wylie—more that a few times. This unsafe!!!!!!! Really-/fix it before somebody gets killed. It’s especially crazy at night. Should I have to walk out of my way to be safe-/I mean I live on Wylie and there’s no cut through!
Container blocking sidewalk.
Tree encroaching onto sidewalk.
Excessive growth needs to be trimmed back on trail between Kirkwood and 4th St. Wheelchair needs to go around the fancy raised embellishment in the middle of the trail, so I have to hit this branch to get by.
Excessive growth on the B Line trail between 4th and 3rd St
on North Dunn Street at Tamarack ( The entrance to Meadowood) there is an abandoned house on Dunn Street the yard has not been mowed. It is extremely overgrown. There are signs in the yard about public hearing so not sure what that means. The house has been an eye sore for several years now. Not sure of the address of the house on Dunn Street. I live in Meadowood and see this house everyday. Is there something the city can do please...the property needs mowed. Thank you
I’m extremely disappointed with how the project on 2nd is being handled. Someone needs to take responsibility and manage this properly. I had an appointment and was late, not because of anything I did, but because access to the business was completely blocked. I then tried to use the alley as an alternative route, only to find that it was also closed due to construction. This level of poor planning is unacceptable. If both the main access and the only alternative route are shut down at the same time, what exactly are people supposed to do, fly?
