Behind our house (to the west) is the Kinser Ridge development. After their work moving around dirt last week (they started on Monday 5/18) and then the resulting rain has inundated the silt fence and it is no longer standing and rainwater mixed with silt pours over when it rains.
The worst was Wednesday 5/20 where the silt poured down our driveway, flooded our garage and left 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of silt in many parts of our driveway once the rain stopped. There has been no change in the silt fence despite my husband (Tom Grano) reporting to the city in multiple departments and speaking with the foreman of the development.
Today (5/26) the development is once again moving around dirt in that area. The silt fence needs to be repaired and a more permanent solution needs to be found as soon as possible especially with high probability of rain the next week days.
Our house is not the only property that has been impacted as the west lane of Kinser Pike flooded on Wednesday 5/20 and the silt could be seen as far down as Bayles.

This is just one location that I've noticed in the last 24 hours. But the hemlock has started to bloom and I'm seeing it everywhere. I had a friend who picked it thinking it was Queen Anne's lace who ended up in the hospital so I think it may be time for another PSA about the plant as it is starting to really take hold in town! (I notified the real estate agent who was selling the house for the other place I saw it on 4th street. I also saw it on University drive on my way to work this morning but didn't get the address as I was on my bike but it was on University between Lincoln and Henderson on the south side of the street.) Thanks all!

Many potholes have been created and are getting bigger everyday, and going east on the same road, on the next block, they did a very wonky job at sealing a hole, and now it is worse than before.

The stop sign is not visible when approaching from southbound. A stop warning sign and/or tree trimming would help.
Blocked Street

The honeysuckle on the west side of the street is blocking visibility right exactly on the curve of Martha Street so any cars going in either direction will not see a car coming in the other direction until about point of impact. This honeysuckle was cut down at when the city put in the new sewage line right at that corner and I asked the people working on the sewage line to dig up that honeysuckle so that it wouldn't block this ability but now that tree has grown has been growing since 2019 and is now overwhelming the corner no visibility very dangerous hazard and it looks like this tree is exactly on the easement and not on the property of either neighbors there.
