Large dog park at Switchyard. You guys were so responsive to my recent report, I thought I would send you another one. You have at least 5 broken sprinkler heads that are leaking water. See attached file. I didn't walk the whole park. There may be others between the big hill and sun shade area. Otherwise park is great (once the mud hole is filled in)! Us dog owners love it. There is a round about on Summit Street and Cottage Grove. The roundabout is completely overgrown and is also covering up the drainage system. It's so high that when kids are riding their bikes and cars are coming around the corner, they almost get hit. It needs to be cut.
Today, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, is my normal trash pickup day. When I put my trash and recycling bins out last night, the street was clear, but from 6:30 on this morning, the sewer repair crew has blocked the street, and so my trash and recycling bins are still in front of my house but blocked by work crews. Will they return to pick it up?
There are many abandoned vehicles parked here. Many are on an unimproved surface. This seems to be a violation of unimproved surface parking, abandoning vehicles, and using the street as a junkyard. Can these vehicles be fined and removed?
Houses yard is excessively weed overgrown and unkempt. Weeds are causing issues bleeding into neighbors’ yards and spreading weeds to neighboring houses. It looks horrible and is a harbor for rats and other pests.
Water meter pit in alley on north side of 514 S Grant St has a broken cap, and looks like vehicle’s tires have been driving into the pit.
I would like to have the trees along the sidewalk in front of our house evaluated. A large branch fell from one in early July, picture attached. I am concerned about the remainder of this tree along with the others along the sidewalk.
