We have a vendor scheduled to replace a retaining wall at the corner of 2nd and Grant that is failing and bowing out. We sent the engineering department some concerns that we want to share here as well. 1. The stop sign is currently located approximately one foot from the retaining wall. There is concern that the sign may become unstable or fall once the wall is removed.
2. Once the project is completed, the bank will be lowered, which may require adjustments to the placement or height of the stop sign.
Please let me know how you would like to proceed or if additional coordination is needed to address these concerns.

Five dogs came out of the back door at 1432 Winfield at 2:29 pm today (1/14/2026) and proceeded to run around the yard, barking steadily, until 3:15 at which time it was snowing and windy. They then all went on the deck where the largest dogs proceeded to climb on the back door for the next 45 minutes to get back into the house. No one ever came out to see what they were doing.

This gold Jeep, plate # TPV 176 Indiana, has been parked in front of my driveway (over the yellow curb lines) since last night making it difficult to see oncoming cars when I exit my driveway. Please ticket or tow, as this is always happening with some car or another. The car is there right now: 12:35pm, W, 01/14/26. - Thank you, ecb

This morning at 10:31 there were 5 dogs running around the yard and barking at 1432 Winfield. Around 11 o'clock, the dogs noticed a man walking a dog on the path on the north side of Moore's Pike near the roundabout. All 5 dogs went crazy, lined up against the fence on the south side of 1432, and proceeded to bark (some were growling) at the pedestrian walking his dog. The pedestrian stopped and saw the barking/growling dogs, then proceeded on his way. Pretty soon, another pedestrian came along (same side of the road) with his/her dog and the same thing happened. All five dogs went nuts, barking and growling, jumping against the fence. The second pedestrian with a dog also stopped when they saw the 5 dogs, then proceeded on their way. Despite all the cacophony of barking and growling, nobody ever came out of 1432 to find out what was going on. The dogs proceeded to run around the yard and bark until 11:28 when somebody let them back inside.

There appears to be ongoing towing- or auto-related business activity being operated out of this residential rental property.
A tow truck is present at the property on a regular basis. At any given time, there are typically 3–4 vehicles stored in the driveway, with 2 additional vehicles consistently kept in the rear of the property behind a bush and shed. Vehicles rotate frequently and are often present for multiple days at a time before being replaced by different vehicles.
This pattern has been consistent over time and appears to be more than personal vehicle ownership or occasional guest parking.
Observed details:
Tow truck is frequently parked at the residence
Vehicles rotate regularly (clear turnover)
Multiple vehicles stored simultaneously
Vehicles remain on-site for days at a time
Rear-yard vehicle storage partially concealed from street view
Concern:
This appears consistent with commercial vehicle storage and towing-related activity at a residential rental property, which may violate zoning, home occupation limits, or vehicle nuisance/parking regulations.
Requesting review by the appropriate department.
