HUGE POT HOLE!!! It blew my tire this morning! I’ll be filing a claim as well, it made me have to call off work. It’s a death trap!!!
Grapevines are growing all over the cables between two telephone poles across the driveway of the neighbor at 2301 East Martha actually that's North Martha Street or I'm in front of that house and I'm on North Martha Street I don't know. The cable is hanging two cables are hanging approximately a yard above the ground three or four cables are affected by this the city cleared out a lot of Honeysuckle and other weeds that were around one of the telephone poles this needs to be done again so that all of this Vines and honeysuckles does not grow on the cables and obstruct cause a hazard.
stoplight is still malfunctioning. we sat at this light (on landmark, trying to turn left onto 3rd) for almost 6 minutes this morning before giving up. it just repeats a cycle of the don't walk countdown for the crosswalk and then eventually goes back to the walk signal. the 3rd street light was green the entire 6 minutes we sat there. a few minutes later when i drove back home, a car drove up to the stoplight at landmark and the light changed instantly. so i know it doesn't malfunction every time but this has been a repeating issue for over a month now.
For years, the local government has done very little to celebrate Pride despite the large queer population of residents. Please tell me some sort of celebration or partnership is planned for this June? Thank you!
Storm drain is clogged with gravel and debris from driveway at 103 S Clark. The gravel from the driveway is washing out onto E 5th St as well.
Can the speed limit be reduced near the entrance of Switchyard Park on S. Rogers Street? This is an entrance to the city's largest park and there will be a pedestrian crossing built that will also cross S. Rogers Street, to the park entrance. Currently, the speed is 30 mph, which will be too fast for a pedestrian crossing and the current busy park entrance. Per City Ordinance 18-09, the speed is reduced on Winslow Rd around Allendale Dr. to accommodate for the pedestrian crossing that is near a city park. Other examples of reduced speed near park entrances includes (but not limited to): S. Highland Ave near Winslow Sports Complex and E. Morningside Dr. near Park Ridge East Park.

I am submitting a complaint regarding what I believe was an unreasonable and predatory towing incident involving Tow Time Solutions and the Hampton Inn Bloomington located at 2100 N. Walnut Street in Bloomington, Indiana. On April 23, 2026, I was a registered overnight guest at the Hampton Inn Bloomington. Prior to arrival, I completed digital check-in through Hilton’s mobile app and was issued a digital room key. Upon arriving at the hotel around 8:15 p.m., the front desk was unattended, so I proceeded directly to my room using the digital key provided through Hilton’s system. At no point during the digital check-in process was I provided any direct notification that an additional parking registration step was required in order to avoid towing. The following morning, I discovered that my vehicle had been towed by Tow Time Solutions despite being a legitimate paying hotel guest. I was required to pay approximately $300 to retrieve my vehicle and had to cancel work obligations, arrange transportation to the tow facility, and spend significant time resolving the issue. My concern is not simply the existence of parking signage or permit policies, but rather the manner in which towing enforcement was conducted against an authorized guest without any reasonable verification process. The hotel had an active reservation, digital check-in record, and occupied room associated with my stay, yet neither the hotel nor the towing company appears to have made any attempt to verify whether the vehicle belonged to a registered guest before towing it. Additionally, the hotel’s use of digital check-in creates a reasonable expectation that guests can complete arrival procedures without front desk interaction. Requiring an additional undocumented step while the front desk is unattended creates a foreseeable risk of confusion for guests and raises concerns regarding fairness, consumer protection, and accessibility. I believe this situation reflects predatory towing practices because: the vehicle belonged to a verified hotel guest, no warning or attempt at guest verification occurred prior to towing, the towing fee was excessive relative to the circumstances, and the enforcement process appeared designed to maximize towing revenue rather than reasonably manage unauthorized parking. I respectfully request review of the towing practices associated with this property and Tow Time Solutions, including whether reasonable consumer protections, guest verification procedures, and accessibility considerations are being followed before vehicles are towed from hotel property. This is a yard maintenance issue in Matlock Heights. The rental property yard across the street at 2206 N. Fritz Drive has not been mowed for a month since the students have moved out.
