I have spoken with Public Works and Planning & Transportation previously but i would like to put it out there again since there has been a lot more progress on Union at Crescent. I would like to put in a request that N.Oolitic Dr from the rear exit of Union at Crescent to W.11th St be rebuilt with widening and curb/sidewalk combos to full ROW width. In addition, i still request that the intersection at N.Oolitic and W.11th be turned into a 3-way stop (signs, not lights.) I truly appreciate serious consideration of these matters and I will work with the city in any way I can, within reason, with my adjacent property. Thank you.
A very large tree branch fell and is blocking part of the end of N Oak St, close to where we live at 420 N Oak.
I found a syringe just a foot or two off the B-Line Trail in a clump of spearmint growing behind the orange building at 7th and Madison. Ironically, the syringe was orange too. I left it there, because I am not trained in handling syringes, but it should probably get picked up and disposed of properly. Thanks, Yael
There are a bunch of potholes in this area. Greenbriar Lane has a small grassy median between High Street and Locust. At the west end of this median on the north side of Greenbriar where it meets Locust there is rough pavement and a pothole. Continuing northwest there is a small traffic island between Locust and Wilton with potholes around it and a bunch of gravel on the sidewalk. The potholes need to be filled and the gravel cleaned up.
Pothole at the intersection of Greenbriar and Locust Ct. The north east corner, near the fire hydrant, on the north side of the Greenbriar at the west end of the median.
So, just like that, the temporary fix, gravel in the ditch was just that, temporary. After a couple rains, the gravel has all washed down in front of our storm drain and across Kinser Pike. The deep crevice along Acuff Road either needs to be filled in with black top or concrete, or a true rain gutter needs to be installed. Gravel just compounds the problem, and the crevice is still there.
Constituents in Fritz Terrace and the neighborhood north of Kroger have expressed concern that traffic is moving too fast (and seems to be getting worse) along Kinzer and Skyline Drive. Not sure if there's anything that can be done from the City's perspective, but I wanted to pass this along. Thank you!

I'm wondering if there's been any thoughts about developing a mountain biking loop around lake griffy? I'm sure that we could get some volunteer and local business support for building and maintaining something and maybe work with the university on a mtb'ing club who could also be trail stewards. Additionally, maybe some trail connectivity through that area could enable realistic bike commuting to Marlin Elementary. I don't think anyone wants to take their child on a bike down Griffy dam hill or old 37. I would be interested in meeting with someone and getting back into public service if a champion of the idea was needed. Thanks!
