Please conduct an animal (dogs) wellness check - dogs are whining in garage, and I'm not sure anyone occupies this home. These animals may not have food or water. I believe there are possibly 2 pit bulls so use caution.
There is a weed issue all along the bypass, down past the mall, and Sare Road. This includes the business areas downtown. From the sides of roads, sidewalks, and medians, weeds are growing strong and do not appear to be maintained. This has not been an issue in the past and does not meet my expectation for city upkeep as a two decade resident and taxpayer. Please work on this and keep Bloomington beautiful!
Dog tied 24/7 and no access to water.
At 9:40pm on August 18, 2024, an MSI security vehicle (the small two seater with a short bed) ran the stop sign on Woodlawn heading north at Southdowns, right by Bryan Park where the multi-use path and park exits/entrances meet Southdowns and Sheridan. The MSI vehicle then made an erratic turn on Woodlawn without any turn signals, turning sharply to the west just north of Sheridan, and entering the park through the grass, then quickly driving along the walking path. MSI is not law enforcement. They were not driving in a law enforcement vehicle during an emergency. They have no right to disregard a stop sign when other traffic is around and when pedestrians and cyclists could be in the area. Failing to stop at a stop sign is a traffic infraction and MSI should be held to account for putting others at risk. The abrupt turn into the park was also dangerous. The City should be aware of the type of behavior the hired help is engaging in around town.
Trash and garbage piled up next to house; boxes of stuff and other debris strewn around front yard. Appears renters moved and left property a mess…as usual
This is an Envirosac of cement (concrete construction debris), likely left over from fiber optic installation one year ago. It is at the residence of 2809 E Daniel Street. It was a box of powdered cement, that naturally hardened into concrete, making it VERY heavy. I would like to know who to contact to remove this from the easement? Another neighbor asked the residents to please remove it, however they have not, and they likely do not think it is their place to do so since the fiber optic company fractured their driveway and did not take this box of cement with them when they repaired it. Behind our house is City of Bloomington Property and the electrical cable / wiring to our house is behind us and crosses in between the branches in big tree behind our house. We feel this is a potential hazard and would like the City to investigate.
Residents of "The Standard" at all hours are crossing the RR through a vandalized security fence where Dunn would go through. Who is responsible for maintaining the fence?
After the wind storm prior to July 4th. a tree blew down in the street at my property located 1601 s. walnut. in an attempt to clear the street, city worker pushed the tree against the home located there. the branches on the tree caught under the rubber portion of the roof on the home. the tree lifted the rubber membrane causing a leak into the home. i need to know who i can contact for relief from repair cost from this incident. i would hope the operator of the equipment did not realize the damage caused and that is why it was not reported or brought to my attention. just need to know who to contact. if i need to come in person still just need to know whom to contact. your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
City parks facilities should prioritize leisure above private enterprise. Please put a system in to reserve courts for private pay or ideally ban all together. Tired of Park Ridge East being used privately by private coaches. Thank you.
