Dear Madam/Sir, I am writing to report an issue concerning the curb and storm drain located at the southern end of Stratford Dr, in front of our residence (3020 S Stratford Dr, Bloomington IN, 47401). The curb is currently obstructed by leaves, twigs, and organic sediment (as shown in the attached photo), impeding effective drainage during rainfall. As a result, our front yard experiences flooding with every rain shower. We kindly request that the curb and its immediate surroundings be thoroughly cleaned to restore proper drainage functionality. Once this maintenance is completed, we are committed to maintaining the storm drain area to ensure its continued effectiveness. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The sidewalk at 1107 S. Fairview at the property's secondary entrance is always either flooded, slick mud, or covered with dirt and grass is now taking root across it. Until very dry periods one must walk out in the street to get around it. Likewise, the weed trees at the line between 1107 and the apartment complex to the north are overgrown to a point that the sidewalk is becoming increasingly impassible.

Individuals in wheel chairs are forced to be in the street due to in accessible sidewalks, curbs, and no safe crosswalks in the Sherwood oaks neighborhood. Vehicles use high speeds over 35mph on this multi-modal road that is shared by bikes, cars, and individuals in wheelchairs. This is unacceptable and unsafe.

Poisen ivy growing onto side walk

I am a bicyclist and must use the sidewalks occasionally because of lack of bike lanes. At 701 S. High St., there is a culvert that borders the house and the apartment building. Weeds are growing out of the culvert and blocking the sidewalk, creating a hazard. It's not clear if it's the homeowner's responsibility or the city's to remove the weeds. Weeds are also protruding from the property onto the sidewalk.
