Deep potholes on the east side of High Street south of Maxwell
Hello! There are a number of very dead ash trees that have become a hazard on E. Covenanter close to the intersection with High Street. I am hoping that some of these can be prioritized. One in particular reaches over the street. They are very close to the intersection and the stop sign on High. It is only a matter of time before a large limb drops, and I would hate for that to happen when a pedestrian or car was present. Thank you! Jenny
At least two stop signs defaced with prominent graffiti.
The light where High Street crosses Moore's Pike was not changing properly last Saturday (it was continually green for the east/west traffic and not changing for the north/south traffic). Now, when it changes green for the north/south bound traffic on High street it only stays green for 8 seconds (I timed it). Only one car can pass per green light.
South bound turn arrow on traffic light has not worked for several weeks.
The light at High St and Hillside/Moores Pike has a left turn signal that is activating whether or not a car is present. It is the left turn arrow on southbound High St as you approach the intersection adjacent to the cemetery. This prevents cars heading north on High St from proceeding until the light cycles through the phantom left-hand arrow.
Pothole at intersection between Greenbriar and High St. The pothole is located exactly where the pointer is.
The new side path along south High Street seems to be open, and all the closed under constructions signs have been removed. So it's a little frustrating to set off with your kids down to Child's only to find multiple vehicles parked on and blocking the path. Being directed to use High Street, with it's fast moving traffic, is not a reasonable detour to be provided with here. Can the city at least coordinate future work here to it happens at a time when all the neighborhood school kids aren't going to or from the local elementary school?
The multi use path along High Street is still not completed around the telephone/electrical pole just south of the corner with Wimbleton Ln. This unfixed part of the path continues to be unsafe 6 months after the rest of the path was completed. Is there a timeline for fixing this?
