Referencing Case #169521 I doubt you even got out of your car, Jo Stong. Now, read this again: "It is unlawful for the owner of any lot or tract of ground within the city to allow it to become overgrown with weeds, grass, or noxious plants beyond the height of eight inches or to such extent that the growth is detrimental to the public health and constitutes a nuisance. (Ord. No. 12-23, ยง 1, 10-3-2012) "Constitutes a nuisance." A nuisance. Public health - ticks, kissing bugs. This is a city lot, not the county.

There are tree limbs that are hanging into Summit Street between house numbers 600-612. Bobby C., Streets, looked at the problem. The problem is with the 2nd tree south of 11th Street on the east side of Summit. The tree is in the homeowners front yard. Streets can cut the tree but they will probably kill it. (Barry, talk with Bobby Chestnut at Street and then with the owner and see if you can work out some deal on this tree)
