The NE corner of 7th & Waldron at the street level was torn up MONTHS ago during the Near Westside sidewalk and ramp work. This corner has never been either completed or the pavement restored. When will this finally be finished? I see this as an issue as we go into the rainy winter, where this area will be more prone to icing, which will create a potential road hazard.
Potholes across the road after you turn west onto Gentry from 446, impossible for bikes to ride through it without taking a beating from the rough pavement.
The part of Lindbergh between 15th and 17th that has been left unfinished for a few years is becoming more treacherous. Only one lane is passable, but it is a two-lane road. There are deep potholes along the road and there is plant growth that needs to be cut so that the northbound lane is useable when there is a car in the southbound lane. Please fix the issues asap.
Weeds are growing on Alice street. They need repaved but the least that can be done is them sprayed for weeds.
Thanks to the Zach Sowders crew for making Adams St between 7th and the Bline a safer and more appealing thorough fare.
Hello - I am the manager of the Osage Place Homeowner Association. The Board of the Osage Place neighborhood is wondering if it is possible to stripe parking spaces on Bernard Street. The goal is to help identify parking spaces and alleviate those parking improperly and leaving large distances (but not enough to park) when parking on the street. The homes on the west side of Bernard do not have off-street parking, so they must utilize the on street spaces. Thank you, Suzanne OConnell (Focus Property Mgt) 812.200.6128 Tel
Over a year ago, new water lines were installed along Brookdale to accommodate a new apartment complex on the west side of Kinser Pike. (Aspen Apts.) That construction dug up parts of the yards of the houses on Brookdale as well as part of the street itself. The street was never repaved and the areas that were covered up with dirt become muddy when it rains.
There is a sinkhole, approximately 14 inches diameter and 12 inches deep, in the road. It's relatively recent. It could be dangerous.
There is a hole in the driveway of this complex on the direct route from the new sidewalk across to the street. My kid tripped on it last night after dark, discovering the issue. I'm not sure if it's the responsibility of the city or the apartment complex, but it is a safety hazard for pedestrians. It goes all the way down to the culvert. Thanks.
