Dumpster in the north/south alley between the Odd Fellows Bldg. and the old Indiana Theatre has not been emptied in 2 weeks. Wilkerson does not know who the dumpster belongs to. Please call and let him know what is being done.
SZAKALY TALKED WITH SUSIE JOHNSON, CODE ENF., HER DRIVEWAY FLOODS BECAUSE OF THE 3 LOTS UPHILL FROM HER RESIDENCE. THESE 3 LOTS DRAIN ONTO HER PROPERTY FILLING & FLOODING HER STORM INLETS. THIS APPEARS TO BE A DEVELOPMENT WIDE PROBLEM.
Construction company working on the house , has left trash & construction debris in the yard for a long time.
Demo without a permit.
Alley/walk-way between old Indiana theater & Oddfellow's building is full of trash. Dumpster is full & there are probably 200 bags of trash all around it. Complaintant said its been this way for weeks.
Said something should be done about all the junk on the carport. Has seen trash there but not sure if trash or junk now as it is all covered up with blankets.
Renters always have 6 to 8 cars parked here and on the lawn. Mrs. Curry asked them to stop parking in front of her house. Tennant told her she has 8 children many that are grown & are parking their cars everywhere. Mrs. Curry said it is very annoying that people visiting her now have nowhere to park. Would like a call from inspector about this.
He called to offer support of the letter sent by Tom Frohman re: the problems associated with the Park and Ride program at Bryan Park. He lives on the corner of Maxwell and Manor and feels it is quite unsafe for the people who walk that street (to get to the park) to have to negotiate around parked cars. Also the people visiting the park in cars don't have places to park. IU should bear more of the responsibility.
