I've been trying to email griffy.boathouse@bloomington.in.gov to do boat rentals but every time I send an email it gets bounced back with the message. "We're writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact (griffy.boathouse) may not exist, or you may not have permission to post messages to the group. About 2:30, 1/11/24, twelve cars were at Griffy Lake dam parking lot, with two more, both City vehicles, and I asked one of them "Do bladders and bowels stop working in winter?" At first, no comprehendre. I said, why is the rest room locked? I asked them to pass on my complaint, and the guys directed me to U-REPORT. After my run at 3:30, 18 cars were in the parking lot, none city vehicles. Griffy Lake sees more than 50 cars a day, perhaps more than 100 - where the rest room? This is plainly a sanitation issue. If there's no restroom, at least walk the trails with a pooper-scooper!

I've noticed the systematic cutting of the wild grape vines throughout the Griffy Nature Preserve. These are native Indiana plants used as food by wildlife, not an alien invasive species. Why are these being cut from the nature preserve? Shouldn't this area be allowed to remain as wild as possible?

The connecting footpath between Greenwood Avenue and Southdowns is blocked by honeysuckle. My daughter was knocked off her bike yesterday. I have written to the council about this problem in previous years. Perhaps the honeysuckle could be cut back more significantly, or this could be put on a regular maintenance rotation? This is part of the 'safe routes to school' in the neighborhood, so trimming before the school start would be great. It's a quick job. Thank you!

One week ago, people were laying internet cable in our neighborhood. They left last Friday, but there are still sizeable holes in the streets, each of which is an injury and lawsuit waiting to happen. My yard has a hole in the grass and a pile of dirt. There are no covers for these holes, and they are very dangerous for kids and adults (its a walk-to-school route). This work was carried out with no notice to the households, and they left it unfinished with no safety precautions. I live at 1011 S. Greenwood Ave. This photo is of one the holes at the corner of Rose and Dexter, which I have to avoid while biking to work. It's about 10" across. Can you make sure that these holes are covered and that the dirt in my yard is cleared up? Thanks.

Thank you for moving the bus stop north 100 ft out of the old bus egress places to places closer to real reasonable places nearer the sidewalks.

At the corner of Wilton and Greenbriar Lane, the sidewalk goes around the corner without going to the street. There are many kids from Beechwood Manor, Arden Place, and Greenbriar Hills neighborhoods who use this sidewalk to get to the crosswalk on High Street at the Wimbledon initersection on their way to Child's elementary.

City should provide dumpsters in neighborhood for students during the month of August as they have excess trash. This is done in West Lafayette for Purdue students. Why not here?

Please consider adding scooter corrals in Green Acres. Suggestions for location - the traffic calming bump outs on 7th, the 4th street footpath, anyone of the several easements that are overgrown with invasives and border the roads.
