LAWSON WENT OUT TO LOOK AT COMPLAINT #5521. THERE IS AN APARTMENT BLDG. IN THE 200-204 BLOCK . THE GRASS NEEDS TO BE CUT IN BOTH THE FRONT AND BACK AND THERE IS TRASH THAT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP. LAWSON SAID TO REFERENCE COMPLAINT #5521.
THERE ARE DEEP DITCHES ON EITHER SIDE OF MORNINGSIDE. WHEN IT RAINS, ESPECIALLY A HEAVY RAIN, THESE DITCHES FILL UP. THE WATER TENDS TO POOL AT THE INTERSECTION WITH LEXINGTON. THE WATER SETS AND BECOMES STAGNANT AND ATTRACTS MOSQUITOES
Three or four inch drop off from Hinkle Road onto Headley Road due to recent paving. Have been numerous traffic accidents. See attached letter.
Alley behind her house (Washtn/Lincoln-15th/16th) has gravel half-way down it. The other half is grass which she has always kept mowed. She is 81 and can't keep up with it anymore. Could the City gravel the rest of the alley?
Apartment building at SE corner of 16th and Washington has tall grass which needs to be cut.

MR. LUCAS CALLED AND STATED THAT SEWER LINES WERE INSTALLED TWICE IN A YEAR (THE LAST BEING ABOUT 5 WEEKS AGO) AND THAT DAMAGE WAS DONE TO HIS PROPERTY AND HAS NOT YET BEEN REPAIRED.
Says trash crews always throw her cans across the yard and do this down the whole street. Understands they have a lot to do, but thinks they could be more careful in replacing the cans after emptying.
