Can I invite you to walk from the 500 block of E First all along to Walnut on the right side of the street, paying attention to trash containers on the side walk or in people's front yards? We counted at least 5 sets today. Thanks.

This morning I noticed that my passenger mirror had been hit. I got out of my vehicle and looked at the other cars down the road and noticed a couple others had been hit as well. (Passenger side of vehicles face a sidewalk, so not side-swiped by another vehicle.) I called the Bloomington Police Department around 2:15 explained the situation, was carried to dispatch, explained again and was told to write a report.

Dear Street Department, I recently moved into an apartment located in lower Bloomington on Willow Court. The stop sign at the intersection looks horribly worn and I worry that it might become a hazard. I realize it's not a high priority since Willow Court is small and has little traffic. However, there are children in the area and I worry for their safety so I thought I would at least give it a shot reaching out to you guy. I got a ticket today for having my car parked in the yellow again. this is the second time this has happened. When every spot on the street is full, partly by people without permits (which I have), where am I supposed to park? this has been an ongoing issue for me and my roommates and I sincerely hope there is something you can do to help with this. There's been a multitude of nights where one of us comes home at night and there is absolutely nowhere to park, then when we get up in the morning to move our cars we end up already having tickets. I'd really like it if there was more leeway on this for people who paid to be able to park on the street. Thanks, Travis Johnson.
