Homeless living in doorway of the tempo bar
The alleyway between 6th and 5th, specifically behind this address would benefit greatly from a streetlight. New residences with off-alley parking and commercial businesses nearby would benefit from the added safety and convenience of a street light. Thank you
Trash bins sitting by street all the time, and there's been a bed frame and mattress (or box spring) leaning up against the front of the house for weeks.
There is water constantly flowing out of the ground on the alley east of 213 E. Cottage Grove about 40 feet north of the street. The water is bubbling up and flowing south to the street then flowing east to Lincoln. When it was cold recently a glacier formed there that was dangerous to walk or drive on. It i now getting swampy there - still dangerous but in a different way. Both City Utilities and property owner were notified, but it is not clear if anyone has determined where the water is coming from. Good to check the meters in the area, e.g., 701 N. Lincoln, 700 N. Washington, 706 N. Washington for any unexpectedly high usage.
Ongoing construction project - workers have been leaving rubbish in a pile in front of the house for months.
This street light at the corner of 7th Street and North Roosevelt Street is not working. It is not been working for several months.
Property owner dug a huge pit in the front yard and then just partially covered it with thin plywood leaving a portion of the pit exposed and a large, unsightly pile of dirt next to it. People or animals could easily fall into the pit and be trapped or hurt. Please ask owner to stop dragging down the neighborhood and finish any jobs he starts so that others are not put in danger.
Trash all over, particularly back yard, visible from alley
Trash in on both the 6th St side and the Elm street frontage
