Water Utility Problems
4681 W Gifford RD
- Case Date:
- 1/1/1970
Dirty water.
Dirty water.
A tree fell across the trailhead on the gravel road near the big sinkhole, blocking access to the top of the stairs at Leonard Springs.
Leonard Springs Park, parking lot Today 3/12/26 at around 4:30pm I was approached by a man just outside the parking lot. While I approached the lot, he was sitting in his car with the windows down playing loud music. When I got closer, he got out of this car and started walking down the gravel path in my direction. When he was about 10 feet away he said to me: "Thats a pretty cat." (I had my 90lb dog with me.). I laughed and said thanks and kept walking. He then stopped and asked "Are you bouncing right now?" I didn't understand him and just said No and kept walking. He then mumbled a bit and said something like "yea just asking, if you weren't leaving, I was gonnna go take some pictures and you could come." I told him I was yea I was leaving and walked away. Nothing egregious, but the interaction made me uncomfortable. It felt like a predatory interaction and I wouldn't want anyone else to experience this. If I didn't have my dog with me, I would have felt unsafe. I didn't get a license plate, but he was driving a white, four-door car, maybe a Ford Focus. Not brand new, but not old either. He was roughly 5'10 - 6ft. Sandy blonde hair. Wearing all black - sneakers, skinny jeans, a tattered leather jacket. He was a normal to thin build. White male.
Water standing and running down the street in front of his residence
YARD REPAIR E OF METER PIT IN RIGHT OF WAY
The location is the area west of the convention center and east of High Speed Tire in the wooded area. This is the pedestrian walkway along third street on the South side between College Avenue and Morton St. There is starting to be an accumulation of trash and what looks like camping gear gathered in the wooded area. It looks like people may be setting up a camp.
Abandoned building next to school broken out windows
Bags/cans must have sticker attached.
There is a lot of overgrowth between some properties and some drainage issues with standing water days after it rains.
