This specific incident involved a Lime scooter, but I urge you to please ban ALL motorized scooters from Bloomington. My family and I were just coming back from the airport yesterday when we saw a young woman collide head-first into a car in cross-traffic (without a helmet because of course, none of these scooters come with helmets) because her brake stopped working. This was no one's fault but the manufacturers'. But given how much they make, I'm doubtful much will come out of it if she were to take legal action. There have been so many accidents (some fatal, as you know) in so many cities, including ours, due to these companies dumping scooter after scooter onto seemingly every busy sidewalk, and it is completely within your control to ban them here--after all, Indianapolis did. I would like to know your reasons for allowing them to continue to be used in Bloomington when we know how dangerous they have and will continue to be, as long as they are on the streets.. Just how many more accidents must we see and hear about until something concrete is done?

The city lot at 6th and Lincoln is a sheet of ice for almost the entire area. It's very treacherous for people trying to walk to and from their vehicle. Please put down some salt or whatever you use to melt ice. This is an accident waiting to happen. Thank you.

John Kovach said, "At this time preliminarily it appears that the city transit bus was pulling out of the station when the victim was struck. She is a deceased. It is a female. So at this point, the investigation is ongoing with our accident reconstructionists. I do not know when any information will be released for the accident. Hello, I am the facilities manager of Trinity Episcopal Church (111 s Grant Street). A while back our gas meter was moved by (then Vectren) in conjunction with the Culvert work that is ongoing by Milestone. They moved the meter from the back of our building where it was safe - to the corner where it is in a precarious position. In doing so they have compromised the sidewalk, causing the corner to crack and one of the metal plates to raise up forming a lip - which has been reported to me as being a tripping hazard. I've asked numerous times to have the area addressed (specifically the meter itself) and have been ignored by (now) Centerpoint. The sidewalk deterioration is just the latest part of the failure to sensibly relocate that meter in a safe manner. Does the Street department address this? And who can I talk to about the meter itself? It is exposed to Traffic traveling through the alley and will be damaged at some point by a large truck. Unit 3351. This trash has been here all week and it’s spilled onto patio which the rain washed down the swale into the area behind my unit. I reported to Tempo on Friday it was still here this morning. This was the 2nd. time I have reported to Tempo but I decided to file a UReport this time. I want the neighborhood to look normal this Summer for my Child. He would be embarrassed around his friends back there. Thanks

I rang doorbell then knocked asking to remove opened spilled trash bag. No answer. My dog tried to get into it. Been there for hours. I don’t have money for extra Veterinarian care and my dog is already a patient at Medicaid Vet. I want the neighborhood to look nice for my Son and him to not think that is normal behavior in life.
