Hello, I am the Food Sourcing Manager at HHFB. I saw on your website you have a link to our finding food brochure here: https://bloomington.in.gov/sites/default/files/2025-10/HHFB%20Finding%20Food%20in%20Monroe%20County%206-24-2025.pdf I just wanted to let you know that we actually have an updated one in case you would like to use this. We think it is easier to read and has updated phone numbers/addresses, and service hours. Not a huge deal to keep the old one up, the new one doesn't have too many changes, but I thought I'd at least reach out to provide the new one if you all are interested! Finding Food Landing Page: https://hhfoodbank.org/find-food/ Actual Brochure Link: https://hhfoodbank.org/wp-content/uploads/Finding-Food-in-Monroe-County-4-16-26-1-1.pdf Thanks!
Overgrown yard
Overgrowth in front and back yards. Rental house has been vacant for two months.
Looks like her dogs have gotten into the trash, she also just leaves the trash cans on the sidewalk. The trash has been there since Friday April 10,2026. It started at the other side now it’s where it’s shown in the picture.
the pavement on Dodds right where it goes over the B-line trail is like riding a roller coasters everyday. many potholes and uneven pavement makes it the bumpiest part of bloomington. now I typically enjoy roller coasters- however! this one is not welcome. I thought it was my rlly old dinky car's fault almost falling apart going over this section of the road- NO lol. I got a new car- same stuff. it could give a newborn shaken baby syndrome i swear
The alley is concrete and is VERY damaged. Utility lines run down this alley as well as all residents garages. Tripping is a problem as the ground is very bad and it was patched with asphalt instead of properly correcting and replacing. This is not owned by homeowners and needs replacing completely especially on the highland ave side.
We live right in front of the new huge metal plate that is covering a construction hole on 2nd. This plate is so loud and boomy each time a car drives by, so, constantly. It vibrates our home and can be heard all the way in the back over noise machines. Can anything be done to slow down traffic here in hopes of some peace? We’ve been very patient with the ongoing, loud, repairs being done all day and sometimes all night, as well as the reduced parking and blocked access to our driveway. As you know, all the streetlights have been removed around here, making it harder for vehicles to see this plate and slow down in time.
