Cable hanging down on sidewalk near corner of W. 1st and WylieEuclid. Duke came and said not theirs prob phone or internet cable. Checked with one internet company (Comcast) and 14 day wait. The cable is on the sidewalk and a hazard in many ways. It seems to be possible related to the movement and placement of construction poles during demos and renovations to the East.
Resident has requested installation of speed bumps along W Howe St to control traffic driving parallel to Building Trades Park. They have personally observed residents travelling at high speeds while children were playing in the area.
New road height is significantly below curb edge (over two inches) along all of newly finished roadway on Fullerton Pike and new roundaboat but is hazard for drivers and cyclists entering and leaving Southwest public library branch. This is a very rough transition for cyclists and could cause issues as cyclists will be turning in or out while also ascending or descending over this sharp edge between surfaces.
Hello- There were street crew south of here earlier this morning and when I got home this evening there's a cable down from a pole and it is across my driveway and in my yard. It looks like a communication line, but I'd rather not mess with it. thanks
Someone needs to check on the construction crew working Rogers Street in the Patterson area. They are blocking the sidewalk with their materials on the east side near the warehouse. One of the contractors unexpectedly pulled his truck out onto the street to block a vehicle and then pulled it out aggressively again almost causing an accident. When confronted about this being unsafe he said “I can do whatever I want“.
Hello - there is a very loud phone ringing noise that originates at a car lot on S. Walnut Street (I think it comes from Royal Toyota South). I live about 2,000 feet away on Somersbe Place off of S. Rogers. I can hear the phone ring inside my house with the doors and windows closed. This is a rather annoying noise carrying over a great distance. Will you please work with the City and the car lot to put an end to this offensive noise creating a nuisance for everyone living within a given radius of the car lot? Thanks!

For over two years the resident of 1316 South Palmer Avenue has been running a used car lot at his house. There are usually no less than six cars parked in front of his house and across the street from his house at any one time. At least one or two usually have no plates. In addition, his yard is a total mess. He doesn't care about the trash that accumulates in it. If this were a problem in Elm Heights, it would have been taken care of in one day. I understand that one can sell a car from one's property, but this man needs to find a lot that is zoned for selling multiple used cars, and move his business to that place. Please help in moving this used car lot from our street. It is an eye sore and it brings down my property value. I am writing to complain about being towed from Bedrak Cafe parking lot at 8:30p by Tow Time and being charged $215. This is an extortion rate. The Bedrak Cafe has signs posted but you cannot see them when it is dark. They are tiny and dark in color. We were not given warning that we would be towed and then to be charged such an exorbitant amount is unreasonable. My fiance met me and we had 2 other friends that parked there. We were gone from our cars less than 20 minutes and 3 of the 4 cars were gone and the 4th one was in the process of being towed. The towing company has to be lying in wait for anyone to park there and then stealing your car and charging you this astronomical price. He then basically threatened us stating if we did not pay him immediately that it would cost us $20-40 more and that we would have to make an appointment to get the cars back at their convenience. This is extortion, we felt intimidated, and backed into a corner. Then on top of this he tells us that he has a contract with the owner of Bedrak Cafe to keep the lot cleaned out of all cars except when they are open. So how much of a kick back is Bedrak getting from Tow Time. And where is Tow Time located. I could not find a Bloomington address for Tow Time. What is the city regulations on parking and fees for being towed? This makes the city of Bloomington look very bad. No one will want to go down town if you cannot park in a lot where the business is closed. This is outrageous!
Loud industrial noises all through the day and night. Police said they cannot do anything because this is a business. Constant noise can be heard clearly from nearby apartments (especially southernmost apartments of The Willows Townhouses and Hilltop Court apartments), and even homes 0.5 miles away in Westpoint neighborhood. Advised that this is a batch production that the business Organized Living started on Monday and will continue through Thursday. This is not the first time they have done this days' long process that interrupts both sleep and daytime sanity. Machine in question is outdoors and at the northwest corner of the building, nearest to the populated area.
The restaurant had perishable food items such as green onions, garlic and cilantro sitting out without refrigeration for long periods of time. Bathrooms were not cleaned regularly.
