Overgrown yard grass, weeds; vine growth encroaching on neighbors; general neglect, unknown occupancy.
The property next to my home has not had the yard cut in a very long time. It’s only been cut once this spring/summer. I reported this a few weeks ago and it has still not been cut. I have attached one picture. Thanks for your help in getting this addressed and resolved.
Poison ivy growth on the corner and in the front of the house. It is over 4 feet tall at the front of the house.
For more than two weeks, the owner has let a man sleep in a tent in her side yard. The man sleeping in the tent is a registered sex offender. He has all of his belongings under tarps. It's a mess.
Abandoned vehicle in driveway. This vehicle has been left to rot for at least ten years. Flat tires. Expired plates. Neighborhood is fed up.
Trash can at the Henderson St bus stop is overflowing. Lots of trash in the grass by the storage units
Once again Street Department is repaving roads with barely any milling work done, this time on South Washington. Milling down 1' strips less than .5" at the curb and not milling at all in the middle of the road. The "repaving" here is just piling up over an inch of fresh asphalt on top of un-milled asphalt. This raises the grade of the road, which also means curbs are now effectively lower and storm drains that should be at grade are now sitting in a pit of asphalt.
Resident has requested installation of speed bumps along W Howe St to control traffic driving parallel to Building Trades Park. They have personally observed residents travelling at high speeds while children were playing in the area.
The one section of sidewalk is below the other two adjoining sections creating difficulty for those with mobility problems as well as older people. It is hazardous for those with vision problems who might not be able to discern the sudden in drop.
