Hole in pavement near 1731 S Highland.
Hole in pavement near 1731 S Highland.
The alley behind my house which connects West 3rd St to Euclid Avenue has developed some major potholes as utility trucks have passed through. My neighbors and I (8 of us) all park behind our houses along this alley, and the deep holes are difficult to navigate. It's a gravel alley which has been regraded before and I am wondering if it can be done again. Thank you.
Re case # 164723 (Supposedly resoled) Grass has been cut. Absolutely correct. But how about the E First sidewalk towards Rose? I do not see any improvement there. Low-hanging branches hitting me in the face and arms. Also, another problem has arisen: corner of Eastside and E First: long vegetation is starting to impair the view to the left where cars may be coming out of nothing from E First. Cases Locations Report a problem closed: Resolved #164723 Excessive Growth: Other: E First Street: Vegetation encroaching on the sidewalk between Rose and Eastside Drive. Also, unkempt lawn (again) on 721 Eastside. Reported By Stella Hooker-Haase Assigned to Kenneth Liford History 6/12/2018 10:22:25 Closed by Kenneth Liford Grass at 721 has been cut. Mr. Jackson called to report grass and weed overgrowth in his neighbor's yard at 760 S. Parkway Dr. who was recently moved into an assisted living facility.
Woodlawn and 1st. Can barely use the sidewalk because of overgrowth.
The sidewalk has become overgrown. This makes it difficult for pedestrians and cyclists to pass. This is particularly dangerous in this spot due to its proximity to a blind corner.
I would like to file a complaint regarding whomever is picking up our trash and recycling at 422 S. Hawthorne Dr. For the past several months, the sanitation workers have become increasingly careless with throwing empty bins onto our curb, into the middle of our driveway, and even (today) in the middle of the street. While I recognize that the workers are busy, this is a health and safety hazard and we pay too much money in property taxes to receive this sort of inexcusable service. PLEASE ask sanitation workers who pick up trash and recycling on S. Hawthorne Dr. to do their jobs properly and not create more work, let alone health and safety hazards, for residents.
Graffiti on traffic sign (Dead End) on NE corner of intersection 12th and Lincoln.
Graffiti on stone retaining wall close to intersection Grant and 12th. Writing is visible from Grant Street. Not sure if City is responsible for the retaining wall or the property owner.
