School bus drivers are complaining the light barely stays green long enough to get from Oakdale through the light to Basswood or to turn left. This is my 2nd time putting in this request as I was told this light is maintained by the state and I would need to contact INDOT. I did that and they referred me back to you. Here is the e-mail I received from them regarding this: [email protected] Dear Ms. Silvernail, Thank you for contacting the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). The intersection of W Bloomfield Road and Oakdale Drive/S Basswood Drive is outside of INDOT jurisdiction. Those roads are city streets under the jurisdiction of the City of Bloomington. I understand that you contacted them already, but I can confirm that they are city streets, which INDOT does not maintain. Here is the link to their website: https://bloomington.in.gov/departments/public-works/street and phone number: 812-349-3448. You can stay informed 24/7 by visiting 511in.org or by downloading INDOT TrafficWise in the app store. Spring forward into safety! Buckle Up, Phone Down. Our school bus driver says the light barely stays green long enough for her to get from Oakdale to Basswood daily. Can this green light time be extended a bit, please?
The multi-use trail starting at Basswood and Bloomfield Rd and eastward up to Walker and 2nd St has not been cleared. I realize this may not be a priority, but I bike to work and until this trail is cleared, I need to ride on Bloomfield Rd/2nd St, greatly increasing my personal risk by having to share a road with motor vehicles. If possible to clear any or all of that trail, it would be greatly appreciated.
Whatever is in the trash in the bus stop smells like a decomposing animal and is attracting a LOT of flys.
Bush needs trimmed, caused bad accident, owner won't trim bush. Bush is on Bainbridge, near Elliston, and Allendale.

When you are trying to pull from Burks Drive onto S. Walnut St. Pike the weeds to the north are so high you can't see south bound traffic without pulling out into Walnut Street Pike.
