Potholes: on Rockport Rd starting at the stoplight by the southern hills church to graham Rd. People swerve to miss the potholes they are deep and it's dangerous. Please fill in these potholes. This is very highly traveled road. The potholes being filled would be very appreciated.

The city council phone number listed on bloomington.in.gov (812-349-3409) is completely unreachable. Any time I call I get immediately disconnected, with a busy signal, and no option to leave a voicemail. I hope this is a simple oversight. The page for the common council literally says that the council is supposed to be a link between the citizens of Bloomington and their government. I have tried emailing my councilperson and not gotten a response there either. I was told by Mayor Thomson's husband when he came canvassing at my house before the election that she wanted to make it easier for residents to communicate with their government. This seems like an easy place to start.

The trash pickup truck just went by my street, picking up trash notmally. But the truck was playing loud music filled with obscenities and violent language. My young kids enjoy watching the trash pickup - please instruct trash pickup personnel to stop blasting inappropriate music to everyone on my street right away.
Thanks,
Daniel Cueto

I had a very negative interaction with a Customer Service Representative named Jordan from the City of Bloomington Utilities on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 3:30pm. The employee was incredibly rude and very dismissive.

We know it is time for the outdoor market cause the market bucks table ain’t open on time. Had to wait over 20 minutes. The winter market never makes us wait. This happened over 5 times last year. They never there on time.

The fiber optic cable pit at 700 S Eastside Drive (right next to the No Parking Any time sign) is missing its (green?) cover, so now there is a big hole in the grass.
I think it was blown off by a recent storm.

City of Bloomington truck 592 is continually parked at a residence on Beechwood Dr. in Ellettsville. This truck looks to be used by an employee for personal use. Numerous city assets have been utilized at this Ellettsville residence in the past including trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment. Hard to understand why a city asset would be used to commute from Ellettsville to Bloomington and be parked overnight at the residence for longterm use. Seems like fraud and abuse of taxpayer funded resources.

Hello,
On Friday, April 19, 2025, the town was trimming the trees in the back area (of my yard) to clear the electrical wires. During the work, the decorative angel in my rear yard was damaged - see attached photo. I discovered this damage on Sunday afternoon, when mowing my lawn. I'd like to be reimbursed because the angel is ruined; this angel came from my mother's yard. How do we proceed for getting this reimbursement to me?
Sincerely,
Elida C. Behar

For Council & Mayor Offices: The whole near west side within city limits that leads to what everyone considers the actual west side of Bloomington (whether in city limits or not) is being very poorly zoned and utterly bad development. The city never prioritizes parks or other greenway features - or even just simple street trees and better vegetation requirements. All the businesses over here continue to get gigantic parking lots and the less popular zoning cases (i.e. rehabilitation centers) are pushed to the west side. Where are these items on the east side of town? Or north? This is inequitable zoning and use of resources focused only to east side and downtown residents. We want to see better.
