Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity rush events have been held at this location all week. Flags are back up. Blue tarps are up along Atwater between the houses as well as across the back properties preparing for another party. This neighborhood is NOT zoned for this type of activity. I found a street sign, together with the large metal pole, in my front yard today. Not sure how it got there ... but it appears to be a Bloomington street sign. Can you come collect it? 415 E. 1st Street
Caller reports that trees are hanging over solar panels just north of Brenda at the intersection of Henderson and Brenda.
The tree on the street has significant low hanging branches and needs to be maintained/trimmed. There are also other trees on this block with some dead branches that should also be maintained/trimmed as some branches have fallen over the past year.
There is a Pace Bike that appears to be abandoned in our bike rack at Community Kitchen, 1515 S. Rogers St. The lock is broken and hand grips are missing. I've tried calling the phone number on the Pace website and it is not functioning.
Neighbors at corner of S Fairview and W Allen are burning something with a strong chemical odor.
I wonder what can be done about 2102 E. Wimbleton Lane in southeast Bloomington. No one has lived there a several years. Someone does cut the lawn, but the house is aging and in disrepair. In the past months, the gutter over the garage is falling off and the house is becoming a real eye-sore. Can anything be done to locate the owners and have them keep up maintenance on the house? The person that this is addressed to does not live here at 5314 S. Southway Drive. And we keep getting bills for them. Have came to report this in person and also attempted to call your office with no results. Please get this taken care of. If not to stop the annoyance to me, to help this person keep their water on.
