"Dear Mr. Hamilton, As my council representative has been ineffective and unsuccessful in dealing with this problem, I am calling on your office for help. For over two years the resident of 1316 South Palmer Avenue has been running a used car lot at his house. There are usually no less than six cars parked in front of his house and across the street from his house at any one time. At least one or two usually have no plates. In addition, his yard is a total mess. He doesn't care about the trash that accumulates in it. If this were a problem in Elm Heights, it would have been taken care of in one day. I understand that one can sell a car from one's property, but this man needs to find a lot that is zoned for selling multiple used cars, and move his business to that place. Please help in moving this used car lot from our street. It is an eye sore and it brings down my property value. Street light in the cul-de-sac at the end of Browning Place (I think it is #15) has worked intermittently for the last few weeks and may need replacing. I have seen it work a few times over the last few weeks, but most of the time when I take my dog out a night it is not operating. Thanks

Hello, my name is John Kelly and I am the senior bar manager at Kilroys Sports Bar in Bloomington, Indiana. I apologize if i am sending this request to the wrong department. Essentially, we wanted to get in contact with the city regarding the parking out front of our building during late night hours (11pm-3am). Our hope is that we could put in a request to have those spots blocked off during those times during the school semesters. The reason for this is due to safety. With more and more students being picked up and dropped off at the location by ubers, lyfts, etc, cars are constantly coming and going from the location. Our main concern is that when cars are parked in these spots, students attempting to cross the street or make their way to their respective rides are difficult to see for oncoming traffic. If this is at all possible on a semi-permanent basis going forward or even only for temporary large events such as the Little 500 weekend, please contact me at the email listed above and let me know what we need to do in order to make this happen, if possible. Potholes galore in the east lane of Southdowns, starting at Woodlawn untiheading towards Highland.

2 young men at 6:30 this morning were taking down the Stop Sign at 2nd and Mitchell. I asked them to stop since I said taking it down would be dangerous. They said okay and seemed under the influence of influence. After I walked my dog, I returned to the corner and the sign was gone. This is clearly a danger issue. It is a 4-way stop but highly transited.
