I called a couple of weeks ago to report that there were 4 street light out on 11th and Morton. They were never repaired and now there are approximately 8-10 lights out. I’m concerned because my college student walks these streets every night in the dark and it’s just dangerous. Like I said, this is my second time reporting this.

I've noticed two days in a row, the traffic "walk" lights along third street (specifically those intersecting Pete Ellis Drive, Kingston Drive, and Clarizz Blvd), buttons are unresponsive in the early mornings. I am not sure if it has something to do with the cold morning weather that these buttons might be getting "stuck" or going to sleep, or having some other electrical issues when it is cold.

Hi there!
This isn't an issue rather than a question! I'm doing research on the workforce of Bloomington and I was wondering if you had information on whether the city government workers and/or the county government workers were Unionised and if so what Union they are with. If theres any more information you can provide for example if the Monroe County School Corporation.

The parking lines on the south side of the square are even more invisible than they were last year when I requested they be re-painted. I was told last summer that the painting was scheduled, and then it was winter and it hadn't been done. Then I was told it was scheduled for this past spring. It's still not done. Can we PLEASE get these painted this year before the snow flies? -Eric Schmitz, Monroe County Recorder
