Our company manages the Batchelor Heights Homeowners Association, which houses the address I am reaching out about. Over the last three weeks, multiple residents have contacted our office to report pet-related issues occurring at 3725 S Cramer Cir. These issues include not cleaning up animal waste in this property's yard or around the community; an altercation in which a large, unattended, unleashed dog belonging to the occupants of this property was witnessed chasing another resident who was walking their leashed dog nearby; the occupants keeping their pets in their garage and leaving the garage door partially open; a potential pig being kept at the property; and allegedly, these residents left their front door completely open all day Saturday, January 15. The resident who reported that last issue attempted to inform the occupants that their front door was open by ringing the doorbell, but they received no answer. They could hear dogs barking and growing inside, and they could smell urine coming from inside the unit. After this, they contacted emergency services to request a welfare check for this property. We are concerned for the animals being kept at this property and the safety of the community. We have attempted to contact these residents and the homeowner but have not yet been successful. There is a small sandy-colored dog tied to a post in People's Park that looks undernourished/neglected.
Resident called in stating recycle was not picked up. Mike Courter went out and picked up. Courter reported that there were two write-ups on the recycling (neither of which had been brought in the office for me to enter) for the items not being properly sorted. Prior to sending someone to a missout at this residence again, check with 939 to make sure they have brought in their tickets for this days route.
Our neighbor in 630 E Ridge Crest Ct (in the building on the map, he is in the top left apartment facing the parking lot) has refused to put his German Shepard on a leash. This dog has ran at and attempted to attack our dog, and has ran at other dogs in the complex as well. We have complained to the management office, who said after the third time reporting to report to Animal Control next time we saw it, and to get a picture of it. He also has another German Shepard that was on leash at the time of the picture, but I have seen both of them off leash. I do not want to worry about a dog attack while walking my dog at my apartment.
Resident called in complaining that her recyclables had not been picked up again and stated that it must be a personal vendetta against her. I spoke with the crew on that route and they had written resident up. Crew also advised that resident usually does not sort recyclables and that they have spoken with resident about it several times and have also done several courtesy pickups. Resident wanted a courtesy pickup done today but I advised that we could not do one. She stated that she would be contacting the Office of the Mayor to make sure that new people pick up her recycling.
Green County does not have an animal control- SAFE Animal Rescue inc in linton is a filthy building, one breaker controls the whole building, ventilation is dangerous. they do not clean properly with chemicals and have no MSDS books for the people that "works" They have aggressive dogs in the garage but let kids run in and out of the building. someone is going to get sick, or hurt The Cat's are dying all the time. They post they need money on their Facebook but their volunteers say they are not putting the money to take care of the animals. They are abused and left all day unattended while the board members work, even when the president is there she is not taking care of the animals in the building. I did not know who else to contact- I have contacted the Sullivan animal shelter a few times but one of their board members Rebbecca Carmichael removes the complaints because she is on the board at safe. I have also reached out to GCHS but there is personal issues between them and safe that they will not get involved. They presidents husband is a police officer out there, so trying to call them does no go either.
City events in the summer are hot, the pavement is even hotter. Tons of folks had pets out at the pride event weekend, for example, and they were walking them on pavement in 93 degree weather which makes the pavement over 130°F. Very few of these pets had booties on to walk around and there was little to no water present. Why is animal control not presenting this information about pet safety and temperatures when it is animal abuse to burn a pet’s feet? Please decide to be present and post this information in common spaces for folks to see and increase reminders about pet safety.
These assholes have 7 unaltered pitbulls. They are breeding them (with no breeding license) that have attacked people and dogs, the most recent being a little neighbor dog that was viciously murdered by one of these pit bulls. They are keeping them in a trailer with 3 children. Animal control has been contacted many times, the sheriff's office has been called and NOTHING has happened!! What is it going to take?
Hello, our dog was attacked on Blair St. recently and the animal control officer said they would give us the other dog owners contact info so we can check with them about helping with vet bills. We have contacted the animal control office several times and left messages and no one is getting back to us whatsoever. Can someone please get back to us?
