When turning right onto E Law Lane from moving North on Eagleston, around 2 o'clock, my roommate got a flat by running over a pothole just next to the sidewalk. I took the same turn around 6pm and got a flat tire as well. Is there any compensation that my roommate and I can apply for, or at least for the city to fix this soon? Thank you for your time.
E 5th Street needs to be repaved. It is beyond just patching potholes. It is dangerous to walk on because the pavement is broken on both sides of the streets. The city will not prioritize a sidewalk, so pedestrians must share the road with cars and bikes. Please look at the include photo and tell me that it can be repaved!
Maybe a complex problem, but there is often standing water (rain or shine, but especially when it's been raining) on the sidewalk and the street in the block just east of Walnut on the south side of 12th Street. .
A back tire on my car was completely blown out tonight driving down High Street between Maxwell & Covenanter. The pot holes along that stretch are REDICULOUS!!! They were all filled with water due to rain so I couldn't see them and I almost lost control of my vehicle when my tire went into a deep one. My car was forced onto the sidewalk. I could have hit someone walking there! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE TO REPAIR THAT STREET!! It will cost me over $800 to get my car towed and new tire + installation. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION!
Hello. Wondering what can be done to address this damaged and dangerous block. It greatly limits the street parking available. The sidewalk is also deteriorating. Plus, it makes it hard for the street to have 2 way traffic.
Requesting update regarding repair of aluminum guard/fence on sidewalk edge. See earlier communication #182356 and #183561. Your reply Feb 13 2023 states that a vendor has been contacted for repairs. Kinser Pike road and sidewalk have been destroyed after the construction and gas line work. Why are you all just letting it be f'd up for so long? These need repaired ASAP before winter so the ice and snow don't exacerbate the already dangerous area. Shame we aren't IU or Eastside a-holes or you all would've had your nodes up our asses day after construction ended
Once again asking the city to fill in this huge rut that was created at the end of my driveway and in front of my mailbox when Winslow rd was repaved. Previously the request was denied saying it was outside the scope of the project, however, the project created the rut during the project work so I'd like the city to fill it in before snow comes and myself, USPS, and delivery trucks get their tire stuck in this hole when delivering mail and turning right. Thank you!
this washed out patch is a fairly serious safety issue for cars and pedestrians. Due to recent work on a sidewalk on Clover Lane, orange traffic cones were available, and were placed at the site of the hole to reduce the risk of an accident. City personnel came to see the issue, and took away the traffic cones, thereby increasing the risk of an accident. City personnel informed me that the hole would be repaired "soon" by the fiber optics installation contractor. While I understand that this sort of thing takes some time to coordinate and complete, the removal of the orange cone and the lack of a repair, is creating a safety risk for cars and pedestrians in the area. thanks, kelly
