On Sunday there was a break in a water pipe that necessitated digging up the street in from of our house and mail box.The work was left unfinished, I assume due to the snow fall. Is it possible t repair and finish now that the weather has improved. It is difficult for the mailman to deliver mail.
Hello, there appears to be a leak for a water line under the sidewalk located between 920 West Kirkwood and 924 West Kirwood. The leak is located directly south of a water meter vault. During the recent cold weather, the water is freezing and making it hazardous for pedestrians to cross. Thank You.
Hello, I'm attempting to get this resolved before it becomes a hard frozen hazard as it has in year's past. This is the sidewalk next to Taco Bell at 7th & Walnut. It is also the only way I can get to One City Centre from the Walnut Street Garage. I don't understand how they get a "pass" on sidewalk cleanup, yet CFC is very prompt about clearing the walk way (see clear sidewalk on horizon of attached photo). I just went back to correct something in my text using the in-app back button and now all of the text is gone.... There is a pile of broken glass on the sidewalk on the north side of 3rd street between College and the B-line, the sidewalk that has an incline and black fencing. The glass is about half way between College and the B-Line. It has been there for quite a while
Location: Morrison's TV & Appliances (closed) @ ~900 W Kirkwood Ave. There is a shopping cart (large'ish size; standard grocery store) that has been left on the sidewalk for at least a week. It is just immediately west of the curb-cut drive-in for the old Morrison's lot. I've moved it off to the side to clear the sidewalk (now sitting next to the Morrison's fence), but it needs removed permanently. There is nothing in the cart and no one appears to have touched it in at least seven days. Thank you! Happy Holidays/stay warm!! =)
Retaining wall is beginning to collapse again. Currently, some large, limestone blocks are lying in the middle of and blocking the sidewalk on Lincoln at the NW corner of the property.
Street light across the street (the west side) from 1324 North Kinser Pike is out. It is a hazard to check the mailboxes, and the whole area is VERY dark on the west side driveways, and the sidewalk on the east side.
For the second day in a row I have walked past the Rubicon and Which Wich on E. Kirkwood Ave. to find a bunch of chopsticks littering the sidewalk. I almost slipped on one today.
The sidewalk widening project along S. Henderson St. is extremely dangerous for pedestrians and a hazard for vehicles pulling in and out of Winslow Plaza as well. The contractor dug 2' deep x 2' footings for new curbs at the sidewalks crossing the entrances to Winslow Plaza and put up now warning signs, barricades, cones, or caution tape. No sidewalk closed signs have been put up. Who is supervising this project?
