Our water is cloudy today. In fact, it has been cloudy many, many days this past month or longer. Two neighbors in this block are doing remodeling projects, so we thought it might be related and did not report. As they both move through various phases of construction, we have come to feel doubtful that the poor water quality must be unrelated.

I have read that people are complaining of a strange organic smell from the water, but the water at our office smells strongly of chemicals, enough so that it burns my eyes when using the water. It almost smells like bleach when the water is running and it tastes strongly of chemicals.

Is the algae bloom high in lake Monroe? I've noticed that in the last week the water has a musty or moldy taste like it did last year around this time. I was looking to see if there was any report of it in the paper, but didn't find any, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

For the past week, our tap water has a bad odor and it tastes bad. It has a moldy smell and taste. It’s hard to even brush your teeth with it. Our neighborhood has had a lot of utility work done over the past month or two. There’s been a lot of digging for cables throughout the neighborhood. Could this have inadvertently hit a water line??
