My water bill and sewer bill have tripled in price over the last 2 months. Please look into this

A leaking water valve related to lawn irrigation system was discovered during inspection of the system. Apparently was leaking for several summer months. It had a slow leak when system was idling but had a significant leak when irrigation was occurring. I am requesting a bill adjustment for at least September and October water and sewer service, though the problem likely started in July. My water bill is charging us for over 33k gallons of water used last month which did not happen. We had maintenance check for leaks and they saw nothing so we believe there is an issue with the meter

We had the water meter turned off due to a line break. Our plumber tells us the meter itself is shatter and will need to be replaced.
