Not sure if this is private property or part of the green belt along Clarizz but trash is everywhere and there is a large body of untreated water ready to fester with rising temperatures.
Subject: Re: uReport Case #162510 - 3433_E._Third_St._property_needs_owner_attention Mike Arnold -- An update from a coupe weeks past on this address, I have been been busy or else would have sent a message sooner. 2/10/18: I reported to Bloomington Police the north, back of house, doors open. Lower door wide open, upper door open but storm door closed. Officers (six) arrived and cleared the house, Windows are still unlocked and storm windows may be opened as they are not closed in place on nearly all windows. Please make contact with the owner and request that they close all windows and check the two doors so they may be closed and locked. I have mentioned to you in the past, on the lower door, stone wall has fallen and mud prevents storm door to close. This needs attention. Please be more aggressive in your home owner contact. Monitoring this house and follow up on securing the house is now using Police time and resources. Plus my time and others neighbors concern that the house is being entered by homeless and others trespassers. It appears a mess inside and needs attention. If you cannot get results on this homeowner's negligence, see history back to 2004 where the city has sited issues, I will follow up with the Mayor and City legal. This needs to be solved to hold the homeowner accountable for action before something bad happens; house fire, frozen water pipes, trespassers cause issues. If you can, please tell me who the homeowner is and their contact information. I am willing to contact them to discuss issues (as the Neighborhood Association representative) - plus Bloomington Police wish to make contact. By the way - the house has not been occupied since December 2016. See attached photos Thanks - Steve Akers 3449 E. Someone has dumped a water heater on the curb. The caller said that it is right across from the tennis court.
standing water in back yard
House has sump pump pouring out water down N Harold St onto E Alice St & east onto alley. It has eroded all gravel and is a hazard.
1723 W Gray St, Bloomington, In 47404 This house has set vacant for almost 20 years, you can smell the mold and rot from a distance. We live very close to this house and see animals climb in and out of the chimney, the inside of this house is completely filled with mold, the floors are totally rotted. It's a major eyesore on our street, and has a major negative impact on our home values. Sometimes people break into it and it harbors questionable characters especially for a building that isn't livable, has no water or plumbing, etc. I'm afraid my kids one day will try to explore it since it's not locked, and they get hurt inside (I've explicitly told them to stay away from this building). Nothing on this property is maintained and since living one house down from this place, we have never once seen anyone come to mow, maintain, clean, etc. this property. We notice a lot of mosquitoes from this property and it worries us with new diseases developing with mosquitoes, this puts our neighborhoods kids and people in general at risk. I would highly recommend this get condemned. It's within City Limits.
Please review condition of growth in front yard. The amount of over growth and lack of drainage is causing critters to find homes and standing water issues for mosquitoes.
There is a lot of overgrowth between some properties and some drainage issues with standing water days after it rains.
