Could the city place a garbage can near the chocolate moose or require them to have one? People buy ice cream and go to the benches a bit north of there. There is no trash can nearby so people just leave their sticky trash on the bench or the ground. The melting ice cream attracts bugs. Thanks.

Hello. I am a Bloomington resident residing at 110 1/2 W 6th St. My apartment entrance is in an alleyway off of 6th between Walnut and College. While this alley has normal amounts of debris, there seem to be many unsafe wires dangling from the various poles and buildings. My main concern is with the alley behind my building. The entrance is off of Walnut between "Btown Diner" and "Samira" restaurants. There is an abundance of trash, grease, vomit, bugs, defecation, and cigarettes throughout the space that causes a repulsive smell and attracts many rodents. This is a very unsanitary environment that workers from the businesses(restaurants especially) on 6th Street take their breaks in. I am not sure the best course of action but I would suggest having the businesses clean their trash bins in addition to having the city power wash the grease and other various fluids off the pavement. The homeless are camping out in the lot next to us again. Could someone come out and put up the orange fence
Our trash was properly spaced and positioned at the end of our driveway. It has been left without the trash collected for two weeks now and we have trash building up in our house and do not know what to do. This is creating a stressful and unsanitary environment and the sanitation department left no reason or note as to why this is happening.
This is a thank you to the persons responsible for trash pickup today. We are overrun with trash and trash cans overflowing and the sanitation crews are picking it up. We could not be more grateful to the crews and hope this message gets to them. Thank you!
If you are going to close a street down, I would recommend cleaning the sidewalks off and locking trash cans so people will not di through them and throw trash on the ground.

From walnut and Patterson all the way to 2nd and walnut I counted 8 shopping carts filled with personal possessions from the homeless, along with varies debris and trash around these shopping carts! Something needs done by the city to discourage stealing shopping carts! Area referenced needs cleaned up and shopping carts returned to owners!
