Two things. first problem the drain to the storm sewer is covered by pieces of asphalt that have come off of the road and rain down here so very little drainage is happening. Second problem where are you tried to grow grass for me has again started to wash away dirt and grass seed gets washed away. What we really need is some sod. I sent this problem in last week. The resolution was they've been clearing the storm drains but they were not going to pick up the debris and tell leaf pickup. This is going to cause the grass today as it does every fall. In Park Ridge as last year we put our leaves at eight weeks we waited for the leaves to be picked up. If these storm drains are going to have piles of leaves next to them for the next 8 weeks then this intersection is going to flood every single time we have rain. This is at the bottom of Three Hills. And the pile is going to get so large like it did last year 4 by 4 by 3 feet high. That the grass is going to die again. It seems reasonable to have the storm sewers cleared and the debris carried away every time we have a flooding event. If this is not resolved differently I will be contacting the mayor. The cover has been off of the rainwater drain for two days.
Again this year when they come to clear our drains for when we get flooded they're leaving all of the leaves in the grass instead of hauling them off so next time it rains it's going to fall back into the drains and in the meantime it kills our grass. I was told to report this so that the supervisor could talk to the people last year. Thank you.
