Hi, My water connection was cut off because I lost my card and couldn't make payment. I'm charged some$90 fee for this. I've been and to pay my bill today. I'm already going through depression. I'm an international student at IU.I request the department to please waive this fee. I'll make sure it never happens again.
I have moved from this address. I canceled service on 11/3/22 with Confirmation ID: 194967-2493. The last payment I made was 12/6/22. However, I just received a bill for 1/1/22 to 1/31/22 (yes, the bill says 2022, not 2023) on this address. I do not think I owe the money on this bill and now would like to question if I did owe the money that I paid back on 12/6/22. My new address is 5696 S Handy Road, for reference. My utility bill for account 7559-002 for period 06/01/2020 to 07/07/202 shows water usage of 82000 gallons. In all previous periods for the year, the usage never exceeded 4000 gallons. There were only three people living in the house during this latest billing period. A new water meter was installed during this billing period by your company. There appears to be a problem here. There is no way the water usage being charged for was actually used.
There was a leak over winter break in my son's rental house. The water bill was over 800 dollars. We would like to dispute this bill.
Two most recent bills have charged us for using 4,000-5,000 gallons of water, and therefore charging roughly $100. The bill for September was $106.42 and the bill for October was $93.15. This is for a two-person house that uses the same, if not less, of an average amount of water per month. I called customer service after the first bill, but the lady I spoke with was not very helpful and recommended we wait until our next bill. According to her sources, any leakage or problem that resulted in such a high bill seemingly "fixed itself" and she did not provide any other alternatives. Come to find out that the next bill is just as high and we have no choice but to pay (again) with no resolutions. Apparently, Bloomington Utilities does not provide any services to check for any leaks or problems.
2 pipes busted in my apartments due to the copper pipes and the cold which resulted to 50 gallons being added to my water bill. First I was wanting to see if we could get some of the taken off cause it wasn’t our fault and set up a payment plan if I do have to pay the increased amount.
Our water bill has been extremely high ever since we have moved in due to water leak and running water. About a week ago the city of Bloomington came out and fixed our system outside of our home. When I called the receptionist said our December bill looked normal but our previous bills are not normal. We should have a 0 balance and some type of credit on our account after paying hundreds of dollars for the past few months. Now we are receiving a disconnect notice after just paying 200$.
My utility bill is almost $200 a month. I have had a Plumber make adjustments to toilets to ensure none are malfunctioning. I’m wondering if there is a leak somewhere. Could you tell me if you can help assess this? Thanks
Water is currently running on the toilet always draining the overflow. Also toliet top lid broke when trying to figure out issues
I have had CBU for 2 years my water bill never exceeded $50. My utility bill this month was increased 50% to $100. I am a senior citizen I have not changed my water or sewer usage. I would like to know why such a large increase. Please advise Vera Gayheart 43951-013
