Most audible signals around the square in downtown Bloomington are set too low to hear. As an orientation & mobility instructor it is difficult to train a future IU student how to train for cane and dog use.

Starting the 7th Street Bikeway project is great. I hope we have lots of low-traffic thoroughfares in twon some day. But finish what you started on Allen Street. There is no signs, no flashing beacons, no paint. Nothing that designates the street a low and slow traffic area. Cars drive way faster now with the "improvements" then they did with the hodgepodge pilot. Put some signs up. Paint the street. Put some flashers at the Washington St intersection and the Henderson St intersection. Allen is not finished.

Hello, I am not sure if I am in the right place or not, but we just moved to a new edition called Charlestowne Manor. A plumber on our road was found unresponsive in his car and is still unresponsive. The dispatchers did not know where we were because Triple Crown Drive is NOT on the map. If the dispatchers had known where we were located (the Ellettsville Fire Station is LITERALLY across the street and the guys could have ran there faster than they got there) the guy might have a better chance of survival. How do we get on the map?

Switchyard park is supposed to be open until 11 pm. Everyday there are no lights on in the skatepark after dark. It is currently 7:17 pm with no lights, this could be a serious danger to the riders. Please fix this issue it would make a huge difference!

I am not sure where to report this, but anything the City can do to stand with LGBT people during a time of ongoing hate would be appreciated. I was just looking through reports and saw the below, clearly indicating animus and negative stereotype toward the whole of queer people. I know hate will remain but I'd love to make sure the City's voice of tolerance and affirmation remains stronger. I appreciated the Mayor's remarks (and hopeful ongoing action) regarding the anti-Asian hate incident the other week. Ureport "Other: After the these two fags or queer child molesters was caught sex trafficking adopted boys. And the Drag fags queen events & switchyard park all with in months of SB -145 in support of such sick shit. We need to pass a law to start public hangings by their rainbow flags down town on live tv."

My husband is wheelchair bound and exercises during the day wheelchairing in our neighborhood. We have lived in Gentry Honours for 12 years. The sidewalks on our street-Coriander Court-have gotten progressively bumpier. My husband has fallen out of his chair three times with injuries. Strangers have helped him. Once an ambulance was called and he had to go to IU Health Emergency Room. The sidewalks in our neighborhood have been ground down to a more level path but not our street. I phoned the Street Department in May asking when South Coriander Ct could be scheduled for grinding and was told the grinding was completed in our neighborhood but they would review the job. My husband has also begun to wheelchair in the streets now, which is not safe either. Can you help us with grinding in our area? On our dead end cul de sac, I have taken 27 photos of the raised sidewalks. I am only including one here. Share your response with me when you are able. Best, Marianne Woodruff
