location is GOURLEY PIKE (my address is 917) horrible stench inside MANY homes on Friday 2/22/13 and yesterday 2/25/13 - toilets empty, bathtubs stained from backup. Odor enough to make you vomit - usually it stinks outside in our neighborhood - now it's ok outside, awful inside. I've talked to three other homeowners on the street - same problem, same days. Hi, I'd like to report a sewer problem. There is a steady stream of water flowing out of a manhole. It leaks across the sidewalk and then onto Rogers where it flows into the storm sewer drain. It's on the northeast corner at the intersection of South Rogers and Coolidge. I just wanted to alert the utilities department about the issue. Thanks.

Around 11:15pm tonight my basement toilet erupted, spewing sewage that covered a huge area of the floor. I called the city hotline and was told to call a plumber, even when I said my next -door neighbor had the same thing happen a few months ago. The word “clog” in spray paint is still very visible on the street in front of my house where the city came and cleared the pipe. I just spent the past 4 hours cleaning the filth up, which included lots of hardened blobs of fat, cigarette butts, and other things that obviously did not come from my house. I am going to get a plumber in tomorrow, but can the city please investigate, as I am very nervous about a recurrence. Thank you.

There appears to be sewage coming up onto the street. It has been this way for about a week or so. It often smells bad when walking by and it looks like solid human waste as well as toilet paper is on the street. There was construction done on this part of the street sometime in the past month. This morning I noticed new, what I think is sewage, on in this area, mixed with the old waste that has been there for a few weeks. The odor was strong again today.
