I am not sure this is the right department, but there is a tree on private property that is an accident waiting to happen. It is located at 715 S Woodlawn and it is just a matter of time before it comes down and takes our electricity with it and possible do other damage.
Tree branches have gotten so long they are hanging in the roadway. All through Sweetbriar neighborhood. Cars have to veer out of lane to avoid. High profile vehicles are breaking branches out of the trees. Trees need to be trimmed back so we can drive.
Good morning, last evening I went for a walk in Olcott Park and admired the several "prairie" gardens along the walk-ways with mowed paths among them. Today I'm writing to ask this email be forwarded to the landscaper who grew and maintains those gardens. I want to add a smaller version to my own yard and have some questions about who to proceed and wonder whether they might share their knowledge on the topic. Or perhaps they can point me to resources. Thank you.

Regarding uReport case #169184 I just got an email saying the case is closed after the city arborist reached out to me. I never heard a peep from a city arborist regarding my inquiry about the prairie landscapes in Olcott Park. I was disappointed that I did not hear from anyone.
There is a section of 'street' between Dunn and Henderson that I believe was supposed to be a continuation of E Wilson Street. It is just a grass area that the city owns. However, the city is doing no maintenance on this piece of property. There is a dead pine tree that needs to be removed and a very large maple tree that is overgrown and threatening to drop branches onto cars. This tree also present a health issue in that there is a large poison ivy vine growing up the tree. I have tried calling the city forester multiple times without response. Can the one tree be removed, the other pruned and cleared of poison ivy, and the grass on this city land occasionally mowed?
We are the 1556 S. Andrew Circle, Bloomington residents. This dead tree belongs to the City and it happened to be located right in front of our house. It really hurts our neighborhood’s green environment. We are encouraged to notify the City in order to remove or replace this Dead Tree ASAP. We tried several calls within the last three weeks, but no one really knows where we need to report. Finally we were asked to contact Mr. LEE from your forest department. But He neither answer our phone call nor response to our messages. We are very upset with Lee’s irresponsible attitude. If this is not his responsibility, he needs to call us and let us know who will be the right person to call. His ignorance to residents’s request is not acceptable. We are forced to write this email and hope City will pay attention to it. There is no too small things can be ignored if City really takes its responsibility. Hope to hear from you soon. The nature trail at Winslow Park now has many more paths than indicated by your online map, so many that Parks and Rec needs to mark the main trails to distinguish them from many, many spurs.
