Layla is a sweet old gal (13) looking for a quiet home with comfy blankets, sunny windows, and owners that share her enthusiasm for tummy rubs and chin scratches. For most of Layla's life it was just us and she was happy as could be. When I got married, and we had a baby, and we got another cat, things started to get difficult for her and it took awhile to figure out how to make everyone in the house comfortable. Our second, much younger cat always wants to play and it started to create some problems around food and the litter box. We tried just about everything but what's worked best for Layla has been keeping them separate with their own food and litter. She went back to being happy as can be but it requires that I spend lots of time with her in part of the house the other cat cant get to and its clearly not a long term solution. She is such a loving cat and she deserves to spend her golden years in peace and quiet snuggled up on someone's lap with lots and lots of tummy rubs.
