Our crews went out and cleaned the inlets. Homeowner commented and believed the inlet grates were satisfactory just blocked with debris.
Email: Betty Nagle reported that this portion of the street floods during any heavy rain event. She also explained that she and her neighbors have to make a conscious effort to clear debris from the inlet grates.

Received this email from Betty: Your guys were there first thing rhis morning. I dont what your think about the grates. To me it seems like they are fine for most places. The drain is at the low point of the arc of the street right where it needs to be. I dont expect the city to keep it clear and most of the time it's not a big deal--just remembering to keep it clear of leaves etc especially if a big storm is coming. But the way the snow is melting now it might have back up before the ice in the grates thawed so I do appreciate what you did. Leaves are one thing--hacking away at ice is another.
Responded to the property owner via email discussing the followup plans.
Tom Axsom will send a crew out tomorrow to clear the inlets and Phil Peden will verify if the inlets can be switched out to improved drainage capacity.
