Phone Call: Mr Pilachowski left a voice message on 7/24/14 indicating he had been forwarded by the Planning Dept. He was trying to find out if there is anything that regulates where drainage from downspouts on SFR can be directed.

I returned his call and explained there is nothing in our specification or rules and regulations that dictates where downspouts can be placed. I also informed him storm water runoff is considered a common enemy and people can direct it off their property but if it is directed at a neighbor and they believe they are harmed by this, they could file a civil law suit. He said he wasn't really interested in that but more the building regulations. He thanked me for the information.
