Other: There is a black cat that hangs out near the Rail Trail that needs to be removed. I was walking a dog on the trail yesterday (6/14/2016) and we had a run in with the cat. This cat jumped out of the brush into the middle of the trail and started hissing at us as we approached. The cat would not move out of the way, arched its back, and walked towards us on the trail, hissing at times. We retreated and a bicyclist came by and the cat lunged at the bike. About a month ago I was biking on the trail when this same cat lunged at my bike then ran off the trail and began clawing at and climbing a tree trunk while hissing and making noises. This cat is dangerous as it does not seem afraid of people on the trail - and not in a friendly manner. Can someone from animal care & control go back there to trap and remove this cat? I don't know the exact location - I enter the trail at the Somersbe neighborhood and the cat incidents have both occurred a few minutes north of Somersbe.
