Other: Used and open syringes are being thrown every now and then at Bline Trail/ Switchyard park. Did we pay for this project so that drug addicts can shoot up and throw syringes where the kids are playing? Why are the restrooms not open for public use at the switchyard park as well as the BPD? Don't say that you don't have enough resources to hire and take care of those. Address the real problem.

Thanks for the comment. The staff at Switchyard Park are working hard to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. As you mention, syringes have been found in the area which staff diligently remove. We hope to combat this with the addition of proper disposal sites (sharps boxes). Public restrooms are open at Switchyard Park -- both the splash pad restrooms and the substation restrooms are open from morning to evening each day.
