City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #180641

Potholes, Other Street Repair:

Other: The at-grade railroad crossings on N Adams and on Fountain Drive are in deplorable shape. Is the city responsible for these, or the Indiana railroad Company? There are many crossings in Bloomington and most of them are fine. These crossings are in a lower income neighborhood so I'd think the city, with its focus on equity and social justice, would be very interested in getting these improved.

Thomas, Railroad crossings are maintained by the Indiana Rail Road Company. I googled their phone number and you can reach them at 1-888-596-2121 or if it is an emergency 1-800-677-1985.
