Thank you for submitting this uReport and sharing your experience at E Hillside and S Washington. At this time, options such as a “Do Not Block Intersection” sign or a painted intersection box are not recommended. These tools are generally only effective when they can be actively enforced, and the painted box treatment is not a standard MUTCD pavement marking.
The City is also working on a corridor wide signal retiming study, which will help improve traffic progression and reduce unnecessary queuing along Hillside.
