Potholes, Other Street Repair:

Other: The condition of the main roads within the city are the worst I’ve ever seen in the years I’ve lived here. Should we have to be still dodging potholes in mid May? I’d like to know what the road improvement schedule is for the city this year please. Can you send me that ? ALSO ….. Can you explain why funds were prioritized to fully pave AND install TONS of speed bumps recently in these areas : E Arden Dr, E Windsor Dr, E Wilton Dr, S Oxford Dr, E Thornton Dr, S Maxwell St, S Highland Ave, S Covey Ln OVER taking care of our heavily traveled roads like High Street and many others? I look forward to your response. Thank you. Brenda Renneisen

Brenda, Regarding traffic calming requests, I would recommend the Resident-Led Traffic Calming Program: bloomington.in.gov/tcgp The 2026 application cycle is open, and if you have any questions, you can reach out to David Brantez at [email protected]. Thank you, Hank Duncan

Brenda - Feel free to call my office. I'd be happy to discuss road funding, efforts of the Public Works Department and the highest levels of road investments we've made in recent years. I'm out of the office on Wednesday, and back Thursday. Mick has my cell phone number if you prefer to call me there, but my office phone is 812-349-3516. My best, Adam Wason Public Works Director
