Hi Alan, Thanks for reaching out. Hillside could be eligible for the Resident Led Traffic Calming Program if you are interested to apply for the 2027 cycle. One street is selected each year for a traffic calming project such as speed bumps (examples like Washington ST can be found on the TCGP Webpage https://bloomington.in.gov/tcgp)
Your comments are helpful in the planning process. Staff is considering Hillside for further study as is a priority corridor in the Transportation Plan. You may submit additional comments to the Planning Dept via uReport or to me at [email protected].

Transferring this request to you as their complaint is about speeding on Hillside.
Traffic calming would be more appropriate than a traffic signal or stop signs as they are used to clarify right of way, not calm traffic.
